Hanyao Diamond dotted polyester film made in China is an insulating material made by coating modified special epoxy insulating resin in a diamond pattern onto electrical polyester film and baking it to a semi-cured stage. Single-sided diamond-patterned polyester film products are normally dry and not fully cured, exhibiting latent curing properties. The adhesive resin layer is not evenly distributed but rather in a uniform diamond-patterned dot pattern.
The gaps without coating act as channels in application, which is highly beneficial for air circulation and heat dissipation between insulating materials, and facilitates the penetration of liquids or gas insulating materials, thus minimizing corona damage and localized current damage.When the diamond-patterned adhesive resin is applied, it melts and cures at a certain temperature and time during the coil drying process, producing an adhesive effect.
As the temperature rises and time continues, it cures again. This ensures reliable bonding between adjacent winding layers into a fixed winding unit. The adhesive strength of the modified epoxy resin is sufficient to prevent displacement of the winding layers during a short circuit, thus guaranteeing the long-term mechanical and physical properties of the insulation structure.

1.Diamond dotted polyester film is able to withstand temperature upto 155℃
2.Curing is carried out at 90℃±5℃ for 16 hours; or at 110℃±5℃ for 6 hours.
3.It should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and clean environment with a temperature not exceeding 25°C, and should be protected from high temperatures and direct sunlight.
4. The shelf life is six months. If the bonding strength is tested after the shelf life and passes the test, the product can still be used.
5.It is mainly used for interlayer and turn-to-turn insulation in sulfur hexafluoride instrument transformers and transformers.
