Electrical Insulation Non Alkali Fiberglass Tape is a composite tape consisting of three parts.Firstly alkali-free fiberglass cloth provides it with excellent electrical insulation and water resistance. Secondly the adhesive, depending on temperature resistance requirements, is typically an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive or a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive. Thirdly,the release layer is a release paper or film coated with silicone oil, used to protect the adhesive surface.Fiberglass cloth provides extremely high strength and stability, while adhesive ensures a strong bond.Fiberglass itself has extremely high strength. When woven into fabric, the tape possesses exceptionally high tensile strength, making it difficult to break and highly durable. Fiberglass cloth itself is non-combustible and can withstand long-term temperatures up to 550℃ without decomposition. Its final temperature resistance rating depends on the adhesive used. Silicone adhesives can withstand long-term temperatures of 180-260℃ and short-term temperatures exceeding 300℃, while acrylic adhesives generally withstand temperatures of 100-150℃.
