Polyimide Film Mica Tape is a type of H-grade/200 grade high-temperature resistant insulation composite material, which is mainly used for the main insulation and wrapping insulation of high-end motors, high-voltage frequency conversion equipment, fire-resistant cables, and high-temperature electrical components.
1、 Core purpose
Traction motor and locomotive motor
Used for the main insulation, slot insulation, and inter turn/interlayer insulation of armature coils in internal combustion/electric locomotive traction motors and high-speed train traction motors, with a heat resistance of 200 ℃, vibration resistance, oil resistance, and aging resistance.
High voltage/variable frequency motor (including wind power)
Main insulation of coils for large and medium-sized high-voltage motors (6kV and above), variable frequency motors, and wind turbines (adapted to VPI vacuum pressure impregnation process), resistant to corona discharge, high frequency, and long service life.
Fire resistant and high-temperature cables
Fire resistant cables/fire-resistant cables are wrapped and insulated in places such as fire protection, subway, nuclear power plants, and chemical industries to maintain insulation in case of fire and ensure emergency power supply.
Special electrical appliances and high-temperature equipment
Insulation of gaskets, interlayers, and leads for high-temperature electrical appliances, transformers, reactors, electromagnetic coils, and heaters; High temperature insulation components for aerospace, shipbuilding, metallurgy, and petroleum equipment.
2、 Key Performance (Suitable for Use)
Temperature resistance level: 180-200 ℃ (H level/200 level), can withstand higher temperatures in the short term.
Electrical performance: high dielectric strength, corona resistance, high insulation resistance, suitable for high voltage and variable frequency working conditions.
Mechanical properties: Soft and easy to wrap, high tensile strength, tear resistance, and bending resistance.
Environmental tolerance: moisture-proof, oil resistant, chemical resistant, aging resistant, suitable for harsh working conditions.
3、 Typical structure
Single sided: polyimide film+mica paper (commonly used).
Less adhesive type: adhesive content of 5% -10%, suitable for VPI process, with thinner insulation, better thermal conductivity, and lower temperature rise.
