Hanyao quality Phenolic Cotton Cloth Sheet uses cotton cloth (usually waste cotton lint, cotton yarn, or cotton canvas) as a reinforcing material. This gives it properties that are different from fiberglass boards.Phenolic resin is used as an adhesive. Cotton fabric is impregnated in phenolic resin and then cured and molded by heating and pressure.It is often referred to as "bakelite board" or "phenolic resin board".
In NEMA standards, it belongs to the XX and LE series.It is usually brown, black, or dark brown, with a smooth surface and a unique "warm" texture, unlike the "cold" glass texture of FR-4.It has excellent machinability, is easy to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, planing, and grinding, and causes minimal wear on cutting tools during machining.
The low cost of raw materials (cotton fabric and phenolic resin) and the mature manufacturing process make it very competitively priced.In summary, it is a low-cost, easy-to-process, and versatile industrial laminate that combines insulation and mechanical toughness.
