SMC insulation board from Hanyao manufacturer is made from unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy resin, or vinyl ester resin mixed with chopped glass fiber, and a large amount of calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide as fillers. Then, additives are mixed in. These raw materials are fully mixed in specialized equipment and can be quickly cured into hard plate-shaped or structural parts within minutes under high temperature and high pressure.
It possesses excellent electrical insulation, superior mechanical strength, and outstanding flame retardancy, easily achieving the highest flame retardancy rating of UL 94 V-0. Furthermore, it exhibits low smoke and non-toxicity, resistance to electric arc and tracking, and boasts excellent performance, making it ideal for use in high-voltage switchgear.However,it requires high mold costs, therefore it is not suitable for small-batch production.
