1. Transformer and Transformer Industry (Core Application)

       Oil immersed power transformers, distribution transformers, dry-type transformers, current and voltage transformers, and reactors extensively use electrical insulation kraft paper.

       Insulation isolation between turns, layers, and segments of windings, wrapping copper aluminum electromagnetic wires, separating coils to prevent turn to turn short circuits;

       Ordinary insulation kraft paper is suitable for Class A 105 ℃ working conditions, while heat upgraded modified insulation kraft paper is mostly used for large high-voltage main transformers to extend the overall service life of equipment.

2. Motor and generator manufacturing industry

       Various types of AC/DC motors, large and medium-sized generators, and special industrial motors are insulated with kraft paper for slot insulation, phase insulation, and coil end protection isolation.

       Embed the stator slot to isolate the winding from the iron core, isolate windings of different phases, and avoid leakage, breakdown, and short circuit; The material has good flexibility and is not easily cracked during winding processing. It can withstand mechanical stress caused by motor vibration, thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring long-term stable operation of the motor and reducing the probability of equipment failure.

3. Power cable industry

       Oil immersed paper insulated power cables, submarine DC cables, and communication signal cables use insulated kraft paper multi-layer wrapped conductors for insulation protection.

       In high-voltage oil filled cables, the main insulation layer is constructed by combining kraft paper with insulating oil; Traditional medium and low voltage oil immersed cables are used for phase insulation and overall insulation; Thin insulated kraft paper is also used for communication cables to reduce signal crosstalk. Especially for long-distance cross sea DC cables, the oil paper insulation system has unique technological advantages and is an irreplaceable material for some high-voltage cables.

4. Capacitor industry

       High voltage oil immersed paper dielectric capacitors, power compensation capacitors, and electrical insulation kraft paper are used as dielectric isolation materials to separate the capacitor plates. After immersion in insulating oil, they exert dielectric effects.

       The paper has uniform thickness and minimal impurities, which can effectively reduce dielectric loss and ensure the voltage resistance of capacitors. It is widely used in reactive power compensation for power grids, industrial frequency conversion equipment, and high-voltage capacitors for new energy matching.

5. New energy storage industry

       The internal insulation components of wind power, photovoltaic supporting transformers, reactors, and energy storage converters are extensively made of insulating kraft paper.

       Wind and solar power stations are mostly located in outdoor environments with large temperature differences between day and night, and the equipment has strict requirements for the thermal aging performance of insulation materials. Insulated kraft paper is suitable for oil immersed box transformers and internal reactors of energy storage compartments, achieving inter turn and inter layer isolation and assisting in the safe operation of new energy power equipment.

6. High and low voltage switchgear, busbars, and electrical accessories

       High voltage switchgear, complete electrical equipment, copper busbar, use insulated kraft paper as isolation pads and partitions to isolate different potential conductors, prevent phase to phase short circuits, and improve the electrical safety margin inside the cabinet. Also used for insulation sleeves and internal insulation pads of wiring components.

7. Electromagnetic wire industry

       Paper wrapped electromagnetic wire production involves continuously winding insulated kraft paper on the surface of copper and aluminum conductors to produce paper wrapped wire, which is directly supplied to transformer and reactor windings to replace some enameled wire and adapt to high-power high-voltage winding conditions.
