Polyimide film mica tape is a high-performance insulation material composed of powder mica paper as the insulation main body and polyimide (PI) film as the reinforcement layer composite. It combines the excellent high temperature resistance and fire-resistant insulation properties of mica with the high mechanical strength, corona resistance, and temperature resistance advantages of PI film; Compared with glass fiber reinforced mica tape, its tensile, tear resistance, and high-frequency pulse resistance are significantly improved, and it is widely used in variable frequency high-voltage motors, traction equipment, special high-temperature cables, and new energy electrical insulation scenarios.
1、 Heat resistance and fire resistance performance
1. Long term continuous use up to H level (180 ℃)/200 ℃ temperature resistance level; Can withstand higher temperature shocks in a short period of time;
2. Mica substrate has excellent fire resistance properties, forming a stable inorganic insulation layer at high temperatures, and maintaining insulation integrity under fire conditions;
3. Good thermal stability, not easily softened or melted at high temperatures, low thermal weight loss, and not easily releasing large amounts of harmful smoke.
2、 Core advantages of electrical insulation (suitable for high voltage and variable frequency working conditions)
1. High dielectric strength, stable insulation resistance, and high voltage breakdown resistance;
2. Highlight the ability to resist corona and partial discharge, adapt to PWM pulse voltage of frequency converters, suppress insulation aging, and are the preferred materials for frequency conversion motors and wind turbines;
3. Low dielectric loss, less heat generation under high-frequency conditions, suitable for medium to high voltage and high-frequency electrical equipment;

3、 Mechanical properties (core value of PI film)
1. PI film plays a strong reinforcing role, with high tensile strength, tear resistance, and resistance to breakage. It is not easily damaged during wrapping processing;
2. Soft texture, excellent bending performance, closely adheres to the curved surface of coils and wires, making it easy for automated continuous winding;
3. Good dimensional stability, low thermal shrinkage rate, and low risk of insulation wrinkling and delamination during long-term operation;
4. Effectively reduce the phenomenon of mica paper falling off powder and keep the winding clean.
4、 Process adaptability
1. Divided into low glue, medium glue, and multi glue systems , the low glue version can perfectly adapt to the VPI vacuum pressure impregnation process, allowing the impregnation resin to fully penetrate and form a dense integrated insulation;
2. Good compatibility with heat-resistant adhesives such as epoxy and Tongma, and a tight overall insulation structure after curing;
3. It can be cut into various narrow specifications, suitable for coil main insulation, wire winding, and lead insulation.

1. Oil resistant, weak acid and alkali resistant, with good anti-aging and radiation resistance;
